Polk Audio Hones in on Home Theater
Harkening back to Polk Audio’s tradition of classic, great sound at unbeatable prices, the brand will be demonstrating its Hi-Res certified, Signature Series loudspeakers. With a new color available, Classic Brown Walnut, the collection of floor standing tower, center and bookshelf speakers incorporate premium audio technologies drawn from Polk’s top-of-the-line home entertainment speakers, including the Monitor, RTiA and LSiM series. As the first Polk Audio line to receive Hi-Res certification, coupled with Polk’s exclusive Power Port technology and a reimagined design for the modern home, the Signature series provides the ultimate movie and music listening experience.
Polk Audio will also be showcasing its new ultra-compact MagniFi Mini sound bar with a slim wireless subwoofer. Designed to fit anywhere but powerful enough to fill large spaces, the sound bar is capable of delivering fully immersive theater surround sound akin to sound bars more than twice its size leveraging Polk’s SDA speaker technology, 5.1 Dolby Digital and DTS decoding, and Polk’s patented Voice Adjust™ technology, which improves vocal clarity for crystal clear dialogue. The MagniFi Mini is also capable of wireless music streaming directly from a smartphone, tablet, or other compatible device leveraging Google Home or Bluetooth.
Defining its position as a leader in the home theater and wireless music space, the Polk Omni SB1 Plus sound bar with DTS PlayFi wireless rear technology will also be demonstrated. The Omni SB1 Plus supports Bluetooth connectivity and with the latest app update consumers can configure two Omni S2 or S2R speakers as wireless surrounds for an elevated home theater configuration to a true 5.1 surround sound experience.
Definitive Technology Defines the Future of Loudspeakers and Sound Bars
Continuing the brand’s focus on providing the ultimate in technology-forward and obsessively engineered audio solutions, Definitive Technology will be flexing the muscles of its 4th generation Bipolar tower speakers, the BP9000 series. With matching centers, surrounds and optional height speaker module, the BP9000 series are designed to offer true, full-range performance for listeners seeking the highest quality audio reproduction. As a leader in automotive and marine audio, Polk Audio will be demonstrating two new lines of speakers, including the recently revamped DB+ Series and DB+ subwoofer, and the newly announced Mobile Monitor One (MM1) series.
