Cherry Credits will hold its very own gaming convention at SM Megatrade Hall 1 & 2 on 9-10 March 2013, its largest initiative held for the benefit of players in the region by far.
Over the two days, players will be treated to a host of exciting activities and fabulous giveaways. Highlights include the comeback of the ever-popular GMPGL Dragon Nest tournament held by Mineski and Alienware Arena Dragon Nest PVP Tournament Season 2, Speedmatches and Cherry Credits’ very own cosplay competition – Cosplay Concerto.
With Php75,000 up for grabs, the Cosplay Concerto boasts one of the highest cash rewards amongst other cosplay competitions. Judged by highly qualified cosplay experts, contestants walk away not just laden with goodies but also the recognition as cosplay masters amongst their peers.
Cosplay Queen Alodia will also be dressing up as a Dragon Nest NPC at the event. Fans will get to see her up close and also be part of her actual birthday celebration. Another crowd favourite, Game Master Adriano will also treat his fans to a mini-concert! Special appearance will be made by celebrity blogger Aikawakazu from Singapore and professional caster Craig Nimo from New Zealand.
The excitement doesn’t stop here! Cherry Convention presents many firsts, including hands-on gameplay of the highly anticipated new blockbuster game Avatar Star, which is set to be released in Q2 2013. Attendees can try the alpha stage of the new game in the Speedmatch and stand a chance to win an iPad mini and other Tte Sport gaming gears. The same set of prizes is also up for grabs at the ever-popular Dragon Nest Speedmatch.
