Today, Best Buy Canada transformed Yonge-Dundas Square into one of the country’s largest tech showcases for the annual Life & Tech Festival – a free event offering an interactive look at the latest and greatest in emerging technology. Back for its third year, the event is bigger and better than ever, spanning over three days from September 12 to 14 and boasting more than 60 top exhibitors from around the globe.

“Best Buy Canada is thrilled to be hosting tech industry leaders at the Life & Tech Festival this year to educate the public about new and emerging technologies,” said Best Buy Canada spokesperson Christine Tam. “It’s an exciting time to learn about how technology can improve and enhance the world. Brands are thinking forward to a future where smart products seamlessly integrate into our lives in order to make life easier, safer and more fun.”

Just in time to upgrade your tech this fall, this year’s event presents the most innovative and advanced consumer technologies available in market – everything from drones, virtual reality, wearables, smart homes, connected health, connected gaming, toys, mobile, car tech, audio, cameras, PCs, and Star Wars drones and droids. Each feature category showcases exhibitor experiences for guests of all ages, such as a fully interactive “Smart Home” house; a Golf Swing Experience featuring Zepp Golf Swing Analyzer and PGA Golf Teaching pro, Jason Helman; the “Drone Zone” highlighting the latest drone technology; and a 6D, fully-immersive sensory gaming experience in the OMEN by HP Torture Chamber.
