iRobot has unveiled a new entry-level option in their lineup of robot vacuums with the Roomba Combo Essential. This 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop combo is described as an upgrade to the popular Roomba 600 series, offering a more cost-effective option for consumers.

One of the key features of the Roomba Combo Essential is its four-stage cleaning system with 2-in-1 cleaning capabilities. This allows for a more thorough cleaning experience compared to the Roomba 600 series. Additionally, the robot vacuum comes equipped with iRobot OS features such as automation and mapping, making for a smarter and more efficient cleaning process.

In terms of performance, the Combo Essential boasts 20x more suction power than its predecessor, resulting in 25 percent better hard floor dirt pickup. The upgraded 120-minute battery life also ensures that the robot vacuum can cover more ground before needing to recharge.

Joining the high-end models in the iRobot lineup, such as the Combo j9+ and Combo j7+, the Combo Essential provides a more budget-friendly option for consumers. It is set to be available on April 7th for a price of $370. There is also a vacuum-only version of the entry-level model, known as the Roomba Vac Essential.

With its improved cleaning capabilities and more affordable price point, the iRobot Roomba Combo Essential is sure to appeal to consumers looking for a reliable and efficient robot vacuum option.
