According to Lbabinz, a Canadian video game deals site, the first batch of invites was sent out on May 8, as Nintendo had previously announced. These invitations are going to users who expressed interest in pre-ordering through Nintendo's official website.

Eligibility Criteria for Pre-Orders

Nintendo is prioritizing these invites based on a first-come, first-served system. To qualify, users must have an active Nintendo Switch Online membership that has been paid for at least 12 months and logged a minimum of 50 hours of gameplay by April 2, 2025.

If you meet these requirements, check your email inbox for a message from Nintendo. This email will contain a link to pre-order either the standard version of the Switch 2 priced at $629 or a bundle option available for $699 that includes Mario Kart World, which is sold separately for $110.

Shipping Information and Availability

Some users have reported not receiving their emails yet. It's advisable to keep checking your inbox throughout the day. Additionally, Nintendo has cautioned that shipments may not arrive by June 5 when the Switch 2 officially launches. The company will provide expected delivery dates during purchase confirmation.
