Persona 4 Revival Reveals Aika Nakamura and Dojima Profiles

SEGA and ATLUS have introduced four more characters for Persona 4 Revival, the upcoming remake of the beloved 2008 role playing game, with new profile details for Aika Nakamura, Nanako Dojima, Ryotaro Dojima and Tohru Adachi alongside their Japanese voice cast. Nanako Dojima, Ryotaro Dojima and Tohru Adachi return

Nanako Dojima, voiced by Akemi Kanda, is the daughter of Ryotaro Dojima and the young relative who looks after the protagonist during his year in Inaba. According to the official announcement, she keeps the house tidy and holds down the fort during her father frequent absences, and she adores the Junes Department Store. Nanako remains one of the most remembered characters from the original game, and her bond with the protagonist sits at the emotional center of the Inaba story.

Ryotaro Dojima, voiced by Ryotaro Okiayu, is the old fashioned detective with years of experience on the force who works around the clock on the series of homicides shaking the rural town. He has taken his nephew, the protagonist, into his own home for the year, which places the investigation uncomfortably close to family life. His dynamic with the protagonist shapes much of the home life storytelling that set Persona 4 apart from the city streets of Persona 3.

Tohru Adachi, voiced by Mitsuaki Madono, is the young detective who transferred from the head office in the spring and now investigates the murders alongside Dojima. The announcement notes that his habit of letting things slip sometimes gets him into trouble, a trait longtime fans will recognize at once. Adachi starts out as a comic presence around the station, yet anyone who played the original knows his role in the story runs far deeper than first impressions suggest.

Aika Nakamura and the nostalgic photo request

Aika Nakamura, voiced by Aoi Yuki, is the friendly face of Aiya, the Chinese diner in the Inaba shopping district. Easygoing by nature, she handles all of the restaurant deliveries around town, and she counts Hanako Ohtani among her childhood friends. Aika appeared in the original Persona 4 as a supporting character tied to the shopping district, and the remake gives her a clearer spotlight.

Her request sends players out to investigate Inaba past. According to the official announcement, players search the town together with their friends, uncover nostalgic photos tied to local memories, and share those finds to unlock vignettes from the characters lives in Inaba. The feature looks like a gentle addition to the social sim loop, rewarding players who take time to explore the town between dungeon runs with small character moments.

Alongside the character profiles, SEGA restated the Persona 4 Revival edition lineup. The Persona 4 Revival Limited Box bundles the physical base game with a Shigenori Soejima designer box, a Midnight Channel phone pouch and a Velvet Costumes set. Collectors should note that the included artbook is available in Japanese only. The lineup also names a Persona 4 Revival Digital Premium Edition and a Persona 4 Revival Digital Deluxe Edition for players who prefer to buy digitally, though full contents for those tiers sit outside this character update.

Launch timing and the road to February 2027

Persona 4 Revival arrives during a busy stretch for the series, which marks its 30th anniversary since the release of Revelations: Persona this year. The original Persona 4 launched on PlayStation 2 in 2008 and moved the series from city streets to rural Japan, pairing an upbeat tone with themes of self discovery that won over a wide audience. Persona 4 Golden followed on PlayStation Vita in 2012 with extra content, and the entry has since grown through fighting games, rhythm games, crossover titles with the casts of Persona 3 and 5, plus anime, concerts and comic adaptations.

Presentation remains a point of interest for the remake, with MAPPA confirmed as the studio behind the anime cutscenes.
