Epic Games has announced that the next in-game concert in Fortnite will feature the legendary heavy metal band Metallica. The band is set to perform on June 22nd at 2pm, 5pm, and 11pm ET, as well as on June 23rd at 10am, 2pm, and 5pm ET. Metallica joins the ranks of other artists like Ariana Grande, Eminem, and Travis Scott who have previously held concerts in the popular game.
In addition to the concert, Metallica will also be part of Fortnite's Rock Band-inspired Fortnite Festival starting on June 13th. Players can also look forward to a new “Thrash Mountain” track in the Rocket Racing experience. And for fans of both Metallica and LEGO, minifigure versions of the band will be available in Lego Fortnite.
