Season 6.5 Unveiled: Night at the Museum Goes Live February 13
Marvel Games and NetEase Games lift the curtain on Season 6.5, named Night at the Museum. This update lands on February 13 for Marvel Rivals, the team-based hero shooter. Players build a shifting squad of heroes and villains. Combat unfolds on maps that can crumble and shift across the Marvel Multiverse.
Elsa Bloodstone Joins the Roster
Elsa Bloodstone enters as a new Duelist. She blends weaponry and traps to hunt foes and can call in monsters to fight beside her. In fights, she alternates weapons to keep pressure high. Her hunting Instinct grows with damage dealt, shrinking cooldowns as the fight drags on. If she is knocked out, the Instinct fades. Elsa reads opponents well, darting in and out to find openings. When a clean window appears, she charges in with her elephant gun and close-quarters skill to seal the hunt. She can set a trap with the smoke monster Diablo, immobilizing enemies for a quick kill. Her Ultimate summons the Glartrox, a beast that blasts through lines and bites anyone in the way.
Team-Up Changes Shake the Meta
Season 6.5 revises several Team-Up linkups. The Fantastic Four lineup changes in a big way. Invisible Woman will no longer pair with Mister Fantastic, Human Torch, or The Thing. She now teams with Doctor Strange in a new Psionic Mayhem Team-Up. Invisible Woman acts as the anchor, while Strange’s Maelstrom of Madness becomes Psionic Vortex. The move boosts the health of allies tied to the damage dealt during the push.
Elsa Bloodstone also joins Deadpool in the Interdimensional Toy Box Team-Up (Deadpool + Jeff). Deadpool tunes Elsa’s Breathing Gun. When the Living Bullet lands, enemies suffer vision issues and hear Deadpool’s chat. Elsa can recall the rounds to heal based on dealt damage.
The Thing steps into the Gamma Charge Team-Up with Hulk and Black Panther. He gains Gamma Gauntlets, which boost the range and power of Stone Haymaker and Rocky Jab. Each successful hit also adds Bonus Health.
Finally, Mister Fantastic teams up with Rocket Raccoon in the Rocket Network. The two crafted a device called the Fantastic Amplifier. Mister Fantastic can push his Elasticity past the old cap and keep it rolling. Inflation won’t trigger automatically anymore; players can push it manually when needed.
Seasonal Events Bring Festive Fun
Season 6.5 brings several special happenings. After Gambit and Rogue tie the knot in Krakoa, they roll into Times Square with a wedding car parade. On Valentine’s Day, players can join the celebration and earn Units. For the Chinese Spring Festival, Lin Lie performs a lion dance in Times Square. Deadpool’s Monster Kingdom Championship
Deadpool hosts a fresh event on February 21 and 22. It’s a fun, friendly clash called the Monster Kingdom Championship. Two divisions are available: Duos and Squads. Duos use teams of two; Squads run teams of six to eight. There are no rank limits or platform rules. Players can pick either division for a day of action. Each day runs five rounds in a first-to-three format. The first team to win three rounds, or lose three, ends their run. Wins earn Units, Unstable Molecules, and a unique nameplate.
Ignite 2026: A Big Tournament Lineup
The 12 partner teams for Marvel Rivals Ignite 2026 have been confirmed. The tournament will start toward the end of March. More dates and moments will roll out as the event heats up, giving fans plenty to watch and players more chances to shine.
