Capcom Reveals gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show Lineup

Capcom will take over Booths B3 and B4 at gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2026, which runs from October 30 to November 1, 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. The booth will offer hands on demos of six titles, including Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance, Dragon's Dogma 2 Dark Arisen, Mega Man Dual Override, Onimusha Way of the Sword, PRAGMATA and Street Fighter 6, alongside a dedicated Monster Hunter stage program.

Two Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance Quests Lead the Booth

The centerpiece of the booth is Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance, the large expansion that continues the story of Monster Hunter Wilds with new areas, new monsters, new hunter actions and Master Rank quests. The show floor demo includes two multiplayer quests for groups of four players, and the new Boost Bracer actions can be used across both quests. The first quest is a multiplayer hunt for Araketa in Skybound Eyrie, a new field of ruins floating in the sky where hunters track unknown flying monsters and can explore freely while riding a Seikret. Capcom notes that this quest suits players who already have experience with Monster Hunter Wilds. The second quest brings back Elder Dragon Teostra for a high difficulty hunt aimed squarely at veteran hunters. Capcom cautions that the demo shows a game still in development, so content may change before release.

Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance is set for release in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Steam and Nintendo Switch 2. Visitors can also try the base game, since Monster Hunter Wilds arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 on December 4, 2026 with its own hands on demo at the booth.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Dark Arisen Offers Three Trial Quests

Dragon's Dogma 2 Dark Arisen arrives on the show floor fresh off its worldwide launch on October 9, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S and PC via Steam. The booth demo offers three trial quests that visitors can reselect within their session time. The first quest, Encounter with a Fallen Dragon, follows strange events in the new area of Norgan and supports the Fighter, Archer, Mage, Thief, Sorcerer and Warrior vocations. It comes recommended for players who already know Dragon's Dogma 2.

The second quest sends the Arisen after the ice dragon Fimbl across the snow covered lands of Norgan, with the same six vocations and a recommendation for confident players. The third quest is a Griffin hunt in the main area, open to the Fighter, Archer, Mage and Thief, and Capcom points first time players toward this one. As with the rest of the booth, the demo build has been tuned for the show floor and may differ from the final product.

Mega Man, Onimusha, PRAGMATA and Street Fighter 6 Fill the Floor

Mega Man Dual Override gets its first playable demo in Southeast Asia at the show, with stages one through three of Twinkle Girl playable as Mega Man and the new Override system on display. The twelfth mainline entry in the classic series launches in 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One and PC via Steam. Onimusha Way of the Sword brings back the classic series with dark fantasy swordplay set in Kyoto in the early Edo period. Players take up the sword as Miyamoto Musashi and push back the Genma with parries, deflects, the signature Issen action, soul absorption and an Oni Armament. The demo covers the opening stretch of the story through the Kiyomizu-dera Temple stage and ends with a duel against Musashi's rival Sasaki Ganryu. The comeback has already made waves, as our story on Onimusha Way of the Sword selling 1M copies on day one shows.

Capcom's newest intellectual property PRAGMATA will also be playable, giving visitors a first taste of its science fiction action adventure built around hacking gameplay. The fighting corner goes to Street Fighter 6, where attendees can try Arjun, the new character who joined the roster on October 13 with his aggressive breathing technique driven fighting style.

Stage Show, Guests and More Reveals to Come

Beyond the demo stations, Capcom will run a special stage presentation for Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance with gameplay showcases and more. The full stage schedule has yet to be announced, so fans should watch for the next round of updates. Capcom also plans to reveal special guests from its development teams, participating regional creators and pre event campaigns as the show gets closer.
