Last Chance to Play: PS Plus Games Leaving in May 2025
Sony’s PlayStation Plus service offers a vast selection of games for subscribers on the higher Extra and Premium tiers. While the Game and Classic Catalog is updated monthly, not all titles remain available indefinitely. Some games rotate out due to licensing agreements or decisions made between PlayStation and publishers.
As expected, a new batch of games is set to leave the service in May 2025.

When Are These Games Leaving PS Plus?
If you check the Last Chance to Play section in the PlayStation Plus hub, there’s no specific removal date listed for each game. Based on past patterns, these titles will likely leave around mid-May when the new monthly lineup is added.
We’ll update this post if Sony confirms an exact removal date or adds more games to the departure list. For now, scan the list above—there might be a game you’ve been meaning to try before it’s gone.
April’s PS Plus Catalog Update Was Lighter Than Usual
The April 2025 update for the Game and Classic Catalog was smaller than usual. Typically, 10+ games are added, but last month stood out for its major addition: Hogwarts Legacy, along with two day-one titles—Blue Prince and Lost Record: Bloom & Rage – Tape 2.
For players in Canada and beyond, this is a good time to check the catalog and download any must-play titles before they leave.
