Dazzling Decorations arrives December 9 with wearable accessories
The Expansion Pass is sold as a three wave bundle covering Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3, and everything plays on an existing Pokemon Pokopia save file. Part 2 keeps the focus on customization instead of map growth, and the team notes that no new town arrives in this wave.
Accessories are the core of the update. Once Part 2 is installed, Ditto can wear items in game, and the Pokemon living in town can dress up too. Shown examples include sunglasses for a cool look on adventures, a bow tie for a classier style, and matching gear such as the Sylveon ribbon that lets Pokemon coordinate outfits. More accessories, furniture pieces and additional Pokemon round out the wave, with further reveals promised before launch.

Two conditions gate the new content. First, the ver. 3.0.0 free software update must be applied to the game. Second, three story requests must be finished: the important requests called Raise the environment level and Rebuild the Pokemon Center in Withered Wasteland, plus Drifloon request Find a doll. Players who are still working through the main town building path should clear those requests now so the DLC opens the moment it is downloaded.
The structure will feel familiar to anyone who followed the pass from the start. Pokemon Pokopia Expansion Pass Part 1 dropped on August 5 with its own town and catalog of items, and Part 3 is confirmed with details still to be announced. The Pokemon Pokopia Expansion Pass is on sale now through Nintendo eShop, the Nintendo Store and the official Nintendo Store app, with download cards available at retail. Pass owners can claim a recipe for crafting dynamic Ditto print blocks and wallpaper, which can be built at a workbench in game. The recipe needs the ver. 1.1.0 free software update, a workbench becomes usable after roughly 30 minutes of play, and claiming from the main menu Downloadable Content option does not need a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership.
A second bonus runs for early buyers. Anyone who buys the Expansion Pass by Tuesday, August 31, 2027 gets a code by email for 30 rare Pokemetal ingots for crafting, sent to the address on the buying Nintendo Account and redeemed through the in game Mystery Gifts feature. The serial code can be claimed until August 31, 2027 and stays valid through Thursday, September 30, 2027, and download card buyers are eligible too. These items can also be earned through normal play, and redeeming them online needs the Switch 2 system connected to the internet.
