Level Infinite and developer SHIFT UP have revealed the full details of the GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE 4th Anniversary Update, which launches worldwide on October 29. Announced during the official anniversary livestream that aired ahead of the milestone date, the update adds three new playable Nikkes, main story chapters 49 and 50, fresh costumes, a Stellar Blade music collaboration and full Spanish text support, alongside in-game rewards and real-world fan events in New York and Los Angeles.
Three new Nikkes join the roster
The anniversary introduces Marian: Queen, a version of Marian who competes with the Space Queen for the ultimate prize so she can build a world of mutual love where her companions will no longer perish. She headlines the new recruit pool together with Scarlet: Goddeath, an Eden-enhanced form of Hongryeon equipped with a reinforced body and a dark-matter-infused sword forged from her shattered blade and the blade of Jang-hwa, a weapon said to be capable of cutting through the body of Lilith.
The third addition is Rapunzel: Sanctuary, a free SSR support unit modeled after a Pope motif. This high-mobility form uses technology from Red Shoes to move swiftly across the battlefield, and players can claim up to four copies at no cost through anniversary events. Commanders who followed the anniversary broadcast covered in our NIKKE 4th Anniversary livestream preview will already know the broad shape of the celebration, and the full character kits now confirm the scale of the update.
Chapters 49 and 50 close the Underground Ark arc
The main story advances with chapters 49 and 50, in which the defensive campaign ahead of the Ark surface advance grows into the full-scale 3rd Surface Recapture War. Every force clashes to decide the fate of humanity, and the chapters bring the Underground Ark plotline to a conclusion, with a brand-new story chapter teased to follow.
A dedicated MARIA-n story event runs alongside the main chapters. It sends players into a sprawling research facility where Marian awakens in unfamiliar surroundings and takes her first steps across the surface to uncover deeply hidden secrets.
Stellar Blade soundtrack event and new costumes
Music takes center stage with TRACING THE STARS, a NIKKE and Stellar Blade soundtrack collaboration featuring 22 tracks, including 4 free tracks, plus custom note skins, minigame backgrounds and a special character addition. The crossover arrives as SHIFT UP continues to connect its two action properties, following a year in which NIKKE kept expanding beyond the game itself, from the recent NIKKE Vol.2 Weiss Schwarz booster release to seasonal in-game events like the Wave to You summer update.
Four new costumes arrive with the anniversary. The gacha lineup includes Marian: Queen – Last Affection, a wedding dress skin marking Marian attaining happiness with her one true love, and Snow White: Heavy Arms – Lacrimosa. The battle pass adds the Neon_Vision and Nayuta_Vision outfits. A new Fading Affection minigame rounds out the content, presenting a branching, choice-driven text-based visual novel adventure in which players revisit scattered memory fragments to unlock untold conclusions from her past.
259 free pulls, Times Square takeover and Spanish support
Commanders can earn up to 259 free recruitment attempts across the anniversary events, plus 4th Anniversary Nikke Selection Boxes that let players choose between Rapunzel: Sanctuary, Chime, Rapunzel: Pure Grace and Snow White: Innocent Days.
The celebration extends into the real world with two major events. On October 29, NIKKE takes over One Times Square at 1475 Broadway and 42nd Street in New York City for the full day, with Marian appearing on the iconic display and fans invited to take photos in the heart of the city. From October 31 through November 14, a partnership with Animate Los Angeles brings 3D illusion wall art, NIKKE-themed store decorations, exclusive merchandise and community activities to the shop.
The update also adds full Spanish text localization, opening the game to Spanish-speaking Commanders worldwide. “We are thrilled to celebrate four years of NIKKE with you, our amazing fans, and can not wait for you to experience all the new content in this highly anticipated 4th Anniversary Update,” said Yoo Hyongseok, VP of Shift Up and Game Director of NIKKE. “Furthermore, we are excited to welcome more Spanish-speaking players from the LATAM region with the addition of the much requested Spanish language support launching with the 4th Anniversary Update, and we will continue to do our best to deliver exciting content for all our players going forward.”
