These new features are available to users with a Nest Aware subscription, priced at around $10 per month. Additionally, users can opt into a garage door detection feature that utilizes Nest Cam sensors to alert users if their garage door is left open. This feature is currently available in Google's Public Preview, which offers early access to upcoming Google Home features.
In 2022, Google initially launched web viewing for Nest Cam, and these recent updates further enhance the user experience. The clipping option is set to roll out in the coming weeks, providing users with more control over their video clips.
