Elsa Bloodstone Joins Marvel Rivals as a Versatile Duelist
Marvel Games and NetEase Games revealed Season 6.5, titled Night at the Museum. It lands on February 13 for Marvel Rivals, the team PvP shooter that pairs heroes and villains. Players build an ever-changing squad and fight on maps that crumble and shift from the Marvel Multiverse.
Elsa Bloodstone steps into the arena as a skilled hunter. She uses a mix of weapons and traps to corner foes and can summon monsters to fight by her side. In combat, Elsa switches weapons to keep pressure on enemies. Her hunting instincts grow with more damage, lowering cooldowns as she gains power. She loses this boost if she’s knocked out. Elsa excels at reading opponents, weaving in and out of danger to find openings. When she finds a moment, she charges in with a blend of her elephant gun and sharp close-quarters moves to finish the hunt. She can lay a trap that triggers the smoke monster Diablo, immobilizing foes and making them easy targets. When Elsa activates her Ultimate, she calls in the mighty Glartrox to crash the fray. The beast delivers brutal force, tearing through lines and biting anyone in the way.
Season 6.5 Overhauls Team-Up Abilities
Season 6.5 also reshuffles how Team-Ups work. The Fantastic Four’s team-up is removed. Invisible Woman now pairs with Doctor Strange in a new Psionic Mayhem Team-Up. Invisible Woman acts as the anchor; her presence powers up Doctor Strange’s Maelstrom of Madness into Psionic Vortex. This pulls enemies in and boosts health for nearby allies based on the damage dealt.
Elsa Bloodstone joins Deadpool’s Interdimensional Toy Box Team-Up. In this setup, Deadpool tunes Elsa’s Breathing Gun. When its Living Bullet rounds strike, enemies see vision distortions and hear Deadpool’s signature chatter. Elsa can recall the bullets to heal herself, scaling with the damage dealt.
The Thing steps into the Gamma Charge Team-Up alongside Hulk and Black Panther. The Thing gains Gamma Gauntlets, expanding the range and power of Stone Haymaker and Rocky Jab. Each successful hit grants Bonus Health, making him harder to bring down.
Mister Fantastic teams up with Rocket Raccoon in the Rocket Network. The pair brings a new gadget called the Fantastic Amplifier. Mister Fantastic’s Elasticity can exceed the old cap and stack energy, but the inflation state won’t trigger automatically—players can activate it manually.
Festive and Themed Events Come to Season 6.5
Season 6.5 brings lively events to celebrate enough to turn heads. After Gambit and Rogue tie the knot in Krakoa, they roll into Times Square with a wedding car parade. On Valentine’s Day, players can join the fun to earn Units.
During the Chinese Spring Festival, Lin Lie will perform a lion dance in Times Square. Fans can log in to watch and take part in the show to receive Unit red envelopes.
Deadpool’s Monster Kingdom Championship
With the success of the Marvel Rivals Championship, Deadpool hosts his own special event on February 21 and 22. The Monster Kingdom Championship runs in two divisions: Duos and Squads.
Duos let two players team up, while Squads fit six to eight members. There are no rank or platform limits. Each event day features five rounds, played in a first-to-three format. The first faction to win three rounds or lose three rounds finishes their run. Winners earn Units, Unstable Molecules, and an exclusive nameplate.
Ignite 2026: A New Lineup of Partner Teams
Marvel Rivals Ignite 2026 has twelve partner teams ready to join the action. The tournament is set to begin at the end of March. Additional schedules and notable moments will come as the event heats up.
Continued Updates and Patch Notes
Players can keep up with the latest changes in the Game Update hub, which includes full patch notes and hero balance tweaks. The patch notes help players learn how each change shifts meta and play style.
What These Changes Mean for Players
Season 6.5 adds fresh faces and new tactics. Elsa Bloodstone swaps between long-range firepower and traps to corner enemies. New Team-Up links link more heroes in creative ways, changing how teams coordinate in battles. The two festival events give players a chance to earn extra rewards during special days. And the Monster Kingdom Championship provides a new competitive stage with its own rules and prizes.
As always, the pace of Marvel Rivals stays brisk. New events, heroes, and balance shifts push players to adapt. If you want to ride the hype, log in on February 13 for the Season 6.5 launch and keep an eye on the patch notes for the latest tweaks.
