Season 6.5: Night at the Museum Brings Elsa Bloodstone and Big Changes to Marvel Rivals
Marvel Games and NetEase Games have rolled out Season 6.5, known as Night at the Museum. The update drops on February 13 for Marvel Rivals. This hero-packed, team-based PvP shooter lets players build a flexible squad of heroes and villains. Fights unfold on a rotating set of destructible maps drawn from across the Marvel Multiverse.
Elsa Bloodstone arrives as the latest Duelist. She brings a mix of weapons and traps to pin down foes and even calls in monsters to fight by her side. In combat, Elsa can swap between tools to keep pressure on opponents. As she deals more damage, her hunt instinct grows sharper, letting her cooldowns shrink faster. If she’s knocked out, her Instinct fades away. Elsa shines when she spots openings, darting in and out to strike. She blends raw firepower with expert melee work to close the distance and end fights quickly. She can also bait enemies with a trap containing the smoke demon Diablo, freezing targets in place for a quick finish. When her Ultimate hits, she calls in Glartrox, a mighty beast that tears through lines and bites its way through the front.
Season 6.5 also revamps how teams work together. The Fantastic Four team’s pairing is removed. Invisible Woman now teams up with Doctor Strange in a brand-new Psionic Mayhem lineup. Invisible Woman acts as the anchor, triggering Maelstrom of Madness into Psionic Vortex. The move pulls enemies in and boosts the healing radius for nearby allies, based on how much damage is dealt. Elsa Bloodstone links up with Deadpool in an Interdimensional Toy Box Team-Up. Deadpool tweaks Elsa’s Breathing Gun, so when shots land, enemies suffer vision issues and the chatty hero adds a few extra quirks. The rounds can be recalled to heal Elsa, using the damage dealt as a guide.
The Thing steps into the Gamma Charge Team-Up alongside Hulk and Black Panther. He wields Gamma Gauntlets that extend the reach and damage of Stone Haymaker and Rocky Jab. Each hit adds bonus health for the team. Mister Fantastic teams with Rocket Raccoon in the Rocket Network Team-Up. The two crafted a tool called the Fantastic Amplifier. When Mister Fantastic uses Elasticity, his range and raw power can surpass the usual cap, and he can trigger Inflation manually rather than automatically. This gives players more control during heated skirmishes.
Season 6.5 also brings a string of special events. After Gambit and Rogue’s Krakoa wedding, they roll a wedding car parade through Times Square on Valentine’s Day. Players can jump in for the party and earn Units. For the Chinese Spring Festival, Lin Lie will perform a lion dance in Times Square. Fans who log in can watch and join the show to snag Unit red envelopes.
Deadpool additionally hosts his own festive bout on February 21 and 22, called the Monster Kingdom Championship. There are two divisions: Duos and Squads. Duos pits pairs in a 2-person team, while Squads allow 6 to 8 players per faction. Anyone can enter in one of the two divisions on either day. Each day features five rounds, done in a first-to-three format. A faction reaching 3 wins or 3 losses ends their run. Wins earn Units, Unstable Molecules, and an exclusive nameplate for the team.
Season 6.5 also marks the reveal of all 12 partner teams for Marvel Rivals Ignite 2026. The tournament is set to begin near the end of March. Expect more schedules and moments to come as the season heats up.
Players can also catch up via the Game Update, which includes the full patch notes and balance tweaks for heroes. The ongoing tweaks aim to keep battles fresh and fair, with changes rolling out across PC and console versions alike.

In short, Night at the Museum brings a bold mix of new character play, altered Team-Ups, and lively events. Elsa Bloodstone’s arrival adds a new edge to late-game play, while the mix-and-match Team-Up changes invite new synergies. The wedding parades, lion dances, and the Monster Kingdom Championship inject a party vibe into the battle map. If you crave sharper fights, smarter combos, and a dash of circus-like spectacle, Season 6.5 has you covered.
As fans dive back in, the shift in Team-Ups should spark fresh tactics. Seeing Invisible Woman link with Doctor Strange adds a new front for crowd control and sustain. Elsa’s monster companion gives skirmishes extra fireworks, and the Thing’s Gamma Gauntlets bring new range and power to standard brawls. The Rocket Network upgrade gives Mister Fantastic a chance to push the envelope on mobility and cooldown management.
Gamers should watch for more updates as the patch lands. The balance changes will continue to evolve, and new modes may surface as the season grows. Whether you chase a milestone on the event calendar or simply enjoy these dramatic matchups, Night at the Museum seeks to keep Marvel Rivals fast, fun, and filled with clever reads on how teams can shape a win. The stage is set for a busy February with events that mix spectacle and competition, all while keeping the core feel of Marvel Rivals intact.
