Unveiling the Nostalgic Lego Game Boy Set
After a brief teaser earlier this year, Lego has officially revealed its eagerly awaited Game Boy set. This exciting new product is set to launch on October 1, 2025, with a price tag of $79.99.
A Closer Look at the Set
The Lego Game Boy comprises 421 pieces and stands at a height of 14 cm, with a width of 9 cm and depth of 3 cm. It features all the classic buttons that fans remember from Nintendo's original handheld console released in 1989. These include the + Control Pad, A and B buttons, as well as Select/Start options along with contrast and volume dials.
This impressive build closely resembles the iconic device that many gamers grew up playing. The attention to detail makes it feel like an authentic brick version of the beloved Game Boy.
Bringing Back Memories
To enhance nostalgia even further, this set includes two interchangeable brick-built Game Paks inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and Super Mario Land. Additionally, it comes equipped with display screens showcasing each game alongside the classic Nintendo start-up screen.
A Growing Collection
This release is part of an expanding series of collaborations between Nintendo and Lego. Previous sets have included replicas of both NES and SNES consoles along with various products themed around popular franchises such as Mario, Donkey Kong, and The Legend of Zelda.
