Rogers' flanker brand Fido is making a bold move to attract former customers back into the fold with a tempting offer. Some former customers, including myself, received an email detailing a special deal of $29 for 50GB of data. While it may not be as generous as the $30 for 90GB and higher plans offered to existing customers, the $29 for 50GB deal is still a solid offer.
According to the email from Fido, the $29 price is valid for 24 months with a $20 monthly bill credit. Essentially, it appears to be the regular $49 per month plan with a special bill credit applied. The 50GB data allowance is limited to 4G speeds of up to 150Mbps, and customers are required to bring their own phones to take advantage of the offer.
In addition, customers must act fast as the deal is only available until July 4th. To redeem the offer, customers need to use the promo code provided in the email and register and activate with the phone number associated with their previous Fido account.
If you have been a Fido customer in the past, it may be worth checking your email for potential win-back offers. Who knows, you may find a decent deal waiting for you.
