Nintendo's Upcoming Direct: What to Expect
Nintendo has announced that its next Direct presentation is set for Thursday, July 31, at 9 a.m. ET/6 a.m. PT.
Focus on Third-Party Titles
This upcoming stream will last about 25 minutes and is labeled as a “Partner Showcase.” This means the focus will be on games for the Switch 2 and titles from third-party developers. Fans should not anticipate news regarding first-party games like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond or Kirby Air Riders.
A Glimpse at Confirmed Games
The exact lineup of games featured in this showcase remains uncertain. However, several exciting third-party titles are confirmed for the Nintendo Switch 2. These include FromSoftware's highly anticipated The Duskbloods, along with Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition. Additionally, Square Enix will present Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, while Ubisoft showcases their new title, Star Wars Outlaws. Supergiant Games is also expected to reveal more about their sequel, Hades II.
No Nintendo event would be complete without fans hoping (and often facing disappointment) for updates on the long-awaited game, Hollow Knight: Silksong.
