Fourteen days of login rewards lead the celebration

The core of the event is a 14 day login reward track that runs from November 6 to December 2. Adventurers who log in each day can collect Cron Stones, a Shakatu Gleaming Chest, an Advice of Valks plus 200 Box and additional items. Those who reach the final day will receive two Shakatu Gleaming Chests, making a full streak worth completing even for returning players who only have a few minutes per session.

Cron Stones remain one of the most useful currencies in Black Desert since they protect enhancement attempts, so a guaranteed supply from simply logging in is a strong draw. The Advice of Valks boxes also feed directly into the enhancement game by banking fail stacks for future attempts. For players who stepped away from the grind, this kind of low effort reward track is a practical reason to check back in, much like the seasonal giveaways covered in the Black Desert Mobile Moonlight Festival guide.

Trade tokens unlock a 31 item exchange shop

Alongside the login track, Shakatu Merchants Trade Tokens can be earned through combat, gathering and fishing. The tokens can be exchanged for 31 different items, giving every play style a path to participate. Fighters earn them through grinding mobs, lifeskillers through gathering and AFK friendly fishers through fishing, so the event meets players where they already spend their time.

The exchange lineup includes an Advice of Valks plus 300 Box, a Choose Your Rare Hammer Box and a Transcended Premium Enhancement Box among its highlights. The plus 300 Advice of Valks box stands out because high value fail stacks normally take long enhancement sessions to build, and skipping part of that process saves both silver and frustration. Pearl Abyss has leaned on this style of broad participation event before, and it fits a studio that keeps several live projects moving at once, from Black Desert to the upcoming Crimson Desert Charting the Unknown DLC.

Velia quest asks players to pick honest or daring

From November 5 to November 12, Adventurers can visit Shakatu in Velia and complete the Event Shakatu Trade Secret quest once per Family. The quest presents a choice between two chests. The Event Shakatu Honest Deal Chest guarantees 1,000 Cron Stones, while the Event Shakatu Daring Deal Chest contains a bundle ranging from 100 to 5,000 Cron Stones.

The twist is that the community choice carries a shared bonus. If more Adventurers choose the Honest Deal Chest, every Adventurer will receive 2,000 Cron Stones. The selection results will be announced on November 12, and the additional reward will be delivered through in game mail on November 19. That structure turns a simple quest into a server wide vote, since risk averse players may prefer the guaranteed 1,000 while gamblers chase the 5,000 roll and still hope the community majority lands on honest for the extra payout.

More quests and Thanksgiving events are still to come

Pearl Abyss confirmed that Shakatus Month continues throughout November, with additional quests from Shakatu and Thanksgiving events yet to be revealed. The staggered rollout keeps the celebration fresh across the month instead of front loading every reward in week one. Players should watch for the November 12 vote result announcement and the November 19 mail payout as the next confirmed dates, with the Thanksgiving content likely landing in the final stretch of the month.

The timing also fits a busy season for the studio, which recently saw Crimson Desert earn a PlayStation Players Choice nomination. Black Desert remains the live service anchor of the portfolio, and a full month of events gives both veterans and lapsed players a reason to log in before the year end rush.

When Shakatus Month login rewards are available

The 14 days of login rewards run from November 6 to December 2. Logging in across the full track earns Cron Stones, a Shakatu Gleaming Chest, an Advice of Valks plus 200 Box and more, with two Shakatu Gleaming Chests on the final day.

How Shakatu Merchants Trade Tokens work

Trade Tokens are earned through combat, gathering and fishing, then exchanged for 31 different items including an Advice of Valks plus 300 Box, a Choose Your Rare Hammer Box and a Transcended Premium Enhancement Box.

Which Velia quest chest players should choose

The Honest Deal Chest guarantees 1,000 Cron Stones while the Daring Deal Chest rolls between 100 and 5,000. If more players pick honest, everyone gets a bonus 2,000 Cron Stones by mail on November 19, so the safe pick also helps the community.

What is still coming during Shakatus Month

Additional quests from Shakatu and Thanksgiving events are planned through November. The vote result arrives November 12 and the bonus mail goes out November 19.
