BioWare, the Edmonton-based developer, has revealed the new title for the highly anticipated fourth installment of the Dragon Age series – The Veilguard. Set in the world of Thedas, this standalone story introduces a new hero for players to embody.
In The Veilguard, players will have the opportunity to recruit and interact with a diverse cast of seven companions, each with their own unique storylines. The game will focus on uniting this team of heroes while navigating the complex and immersive world of Thedas. Despite not being called Dreadwolf, a key enemy in the game, the Dreadwolf will still play a significant role in the overarching narrative.
On June 11th at 11am ET, BioWare will be showcasing over 15 minutes of gameplay on the Dragon Age YouTube channel, providing fans with an exclusive first look at what The Veilguard has to offer.
