Google’s upcoming Pixel 9 series is generating buzz with the latest revelation of the Tensor G4 chipset, as reported by AnTuTu benchmarks. The series is expected to include the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL, alongside a Pixel foldable device.

According to Russian site Rozetked, the benchmark scores for the Pixel 9 devices have been revealed. The Pixel 9 scored 1,071,616, the Pixel 9 Pro achieved 1,148,452, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL obtained 1,176,410 in the AnTuTu tests. These scores indicate a performance boost over the previous Tensor G3-powered models, which scored around 900,000. Despite the improvement, some believe that Google may still fine-tune the devices before the official launch.

Rumors suggest that Google might switch from Samsung to TSMC for the upcoming Tensor G5 chipset in the Pixel 10 series, potentially indicating a shift in focus towards next year’s devices. This speculation raises questions about the extent of enhancements in the current Pixel 9 series.

More details on Google’s Pixel 9 lineup are anticipated to surface in October when the company is expected to launch the new smartphones. Stay tuned for further updates on the specifications and features of the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL.
