Telus has recently made some significant changes to its plan offerings, including the reintroduction of its $95 Canada-U.S. plan. This plan provides subscribers with 200GB of data at speeds of up to 2Gbps, with the option to use their minutes, texts, and data in both Canada and the U.S. In addition to these features, the plan also includes 12 months of free Disney+ Standard.

Previously, Telus had removed the $95/200GB plan, leaving customers with the choice between an $80/200GB Canada-only plan and a $100/200GB Canada-U.S.-Mexico plan. However, the re-introduction of the $95 Canada-U.S. plan gives customers more flexibility in selecting the plan that best suits their needs.

Another notable change is the consolidation of two lower-cost plans into one option with a lower price and more data. The $70/75GB 5G ‘Essential’ plan has been removed, and in its place, Telus now offers a $60/75GB plan with capped speeds of 250Mbps. This plan also includes unlimited Canada-wide calling and texting but is limited to new activations that bring their own device.

While the $60/75GB plan offers a lower price and higher data amount compared to the previous plans, there are other options available in the market that may provide better value for customers. For example, Telus-owned Public Mobile has a $40/75GB 5G plan with Canada-U.S. calling, making it a cost-effective alternative for those looking to save money.

Overall, Telus continues to adapt its plan offerings to meet the evolving needs of customers, providing a range of options to suit different preferences and budgets. Customers can visit Telus' website to view and select the plan that best fits their requirements.
